Zoe came came to Harmony Outreach (a wonderful foster home outside Beijing) from Yuncheng Orphanage on March 2, 2010. She was in need of clft lip/palate surgery and a forever family to care for her. During her care at Harmony the intial surgeries have been completed and she is in excellent health.
Zoe was given the English name of Rebecca, in honor of Harmony's friend and prayer partner Rebecca Schmunk of Germany. We are grateful to the Schmunks for their prayer coverage and funding of Zoe/Rebecca's surgeries. Truly, your reward will be great both here and in heaven!
We have sponsored two children at Harmony over the past couple of years. It has been a heart desire to eventually adopt a child from Harmony, and in June 2010 we discovered that Harmony had placed new little ones on their site to be sponsored. God was already stirring our hearts to move forward and when we saw little Zoe (Rebecca) we said "yes". From June 2010 to May 2011, we have been on a fast track with God, to bring Zoe (Rebecca) home. All along the way, God has provided and we are eternally grateful for His loving and faithful hand. We also appreciate all those whom God has used to help us (and Zoe) in this process.
