Taiyuan, is the capitol of the Shanxi province of China.
This province is rich with over 5,000 years of history.
Taiyuan is nicknamed the Dragon City,
due to many Chinese Emperors coming from it.
Zoe already exhibits inherent signs of leadership.
Zoe's orphanage is actually located 7 hours southwest of Taiyuan
in the rural town of Yuncheng. Zoe only spent a short period
at the orphanage before being referred to Harmony House
for surgery and foster care.
We have since discovered Yuncheng is a major center of
human trafficking in China. God has given us a burden to team
with others in combating the roots of human trafficking.
The fact that Zoe comes from the center of human
trafficking in China brings another confirmation to this calling.

The following are pictures from our time in Taiyuan

Zoe, "the leader."
So not to be confused with who is in charge, Zoe often
turned the script and fed Randy, versus Randy feeding her.

Mike and Sherry and their newly adopted son Jacob.
We were with Mike and Sherry the entire time
in Shanxi province. Jacob and Joshua
became best buds! Jacob is 4 years old
and came from the same orphanage as Zoe.
